Asmahan Saleh Khalil, PhD, BCBA-D

Asmahan Saleh Khalil, PhD, BCBA-D, is a licensed child psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 12 years of experience supporting the development, well-being, and safety of children and adolescents. She holds a doctorate from Queen’s University Belfast and currently serves as an adjunct professor at Zayed University. Asmahan’s work and research focuses on promoting healthy development, safeguarding, sexual health education, and supporting children and adolescents with diverse needs across the Arab world. She also specializes in guiding typically developing youth in critical areas such as emotional regulation, resilience-building, and overall healthy development. She is a founding board member of the Association of Behavior Analysis in Lebanon (ABAL) and regularly delivers workshops and trainings for parents, educators, and professionals, emphasizing evidence-based interventions, safeguarding strategies, and adolescent development. In 2020, she co-authored the children’s book The Day the World Went Boom.
