Dr. Baghdayan is the executive director of the National Center for Disability Education and Training (NCDET) at the University of Oklahoma Outreach. She is a certified legal advocate and a nationally board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA-D). She has been in the field of education for more than 3 decades. She carried out a longitudinal research study that focused on teaching social communication skills to families who were raising a child with autism between the ages of 2-5. Currently, she serves as the president of the Oklahoma licensed behavior analyst board. She serves as an advisory board member for Haigazian University Education Reform Committee, Oklahoma Autism Network, and the Oklahoma Transition Council. She receives funding from the Social Security Administration and from the Oklahoma Rehabilitation Services to provide training to schools, agencies, and organizations to promote inclusion and employment of individuals with disabilities. She collaborates with more than 240 high schools statewide and provides services for more than 10,000 youths with disabilities enrolled in the public schools. She directs and manages the Oklahoma Project SEARCH, Pre-Employment Transition Services, OWIPA, Promoting Inclusive Employment, and Certified Employment Consultant programs at NCDET. She oversees more than 80 staff members in executing these programs and projects.
She is a national and international speaker. She is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), and Association of People Supporting Employment (APSE).
