Abstract

The closing Town Hall invites conference participants to come together in a shared dialogue that weaves together the central themes of this year’s program. From navigating the timeline of autism and ABA in Lebanon to exploring transition to adulthood, sexual health education, feeding interventions, AAC and complex communication needs, and trauma-responsive practices, this session creates space to reflect on what we’ve learned across disciplines.

Moderated as an open conversation, the Town Hall will bring forward diverse perspectives—professionals, parents, students, and community partners—to highlight challenges, opportunities, and next steps for the field. Rather than serving as an ending, it will act as a bridge—building on the insights of these two days to strengthen interprofessional collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and the future of ABA in Lebanon and beyond.

  2. Identify challenges, opportunities, and culturally responsive approaches highlighted through dialogue among professionals, parents, students, and community partners.
  3. Outline next steps to strengthen interprofessional collaboration and advance the future of ABA in Lebanon and beyond.
